Growing up between Sydney and Dubai, movement was never a chore for Freyja. Sunrise walks, coastal coffees and an everyday rhythm of being active shaped her philosophy long before Pilates became her profession. “Movement was just woven into my lifestyle,” she says. “It’s something I’ve always loved and naturally gravitated towards.”

From Instructor to Innovator

The idea for KRUMP began during her years as a Pilates instructor, carrying equipment from home to home and becoming frustrated by flimsy, plastic-wrapped products. “I kept thinking, wouldn’t it be amazing to have a brand I could rely on? Something chic, sustainable and built to last.” That moment of irritation became the seed of a business built on style and substance.

Style Meets Sustainability

KRUMP’s design ethos is sleek and minimal, with subtle tones inspired by nature and fashion, always underpinned by function. “Your workout gear should make you feel good and work well,” Freyja says. “We wanted accessories that looked beautiful in your space, felt amazing to use and didn’t add to the planet’s plastic problem.” Every mat and band is made from recycled materials, with durability designed in.

Pilates as a Lifestyle

For Freyja, movement should be simple and accessible, never over-complicated. “Life is already busy. If exercise feels like a production, you won’t stick with it,” she says. Her own routine is varied and fluid, ranging from Pilates and strength sessions to walks with friends. The common thread: enjoyment. “It’s not about perfection, it’s about rhythm. Find something you love and keep showing up.”

Designing for Joy

KRUMP isn’t just equipment; it’s motivation in disguise. A mat you want to unroll, ankle weights you’re proud to leave out. “If your gear makes you happy, that’s one less barrier to moving,” Freyja says. She hopes KRUMP creates consistency through small sparks of joy, turning workouts from chore to ritual.

What Comes Next

With new products, events and collaborations on the horizon, Freyja sees KRUMP as more than a brand. “I want it to inspire people to move, connect and feel good in their own skin. My big vision is to see KRUMP in studios, hotels and wellness spaces everywhere people want to move.”

Krump isn’t about creating another product. It’s about creating a new way to move. Stylish, sustainable and joyful.
